About the job Remote Pharmacist 3-Month Contract (Illinois License Required) Start Date: January 2026 Location: Remote, must reside in Illinois Overview We are hiring Remote Pharmacists licensed in Illinois for a 3-month contract supporting home-dialysis patients and clinics. The role involves verifying verbal prescription orders over the phone, reviewing medication information, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards. All training and work are fully remote. A Windows laptop and monitor are provided. Responsibilities • Verify verbal prescription orders with local clinics • Review prescriptions and assess appropriateness using clinical criteria • Ensure quality, regulatory, and utilization management compliance • Provide consultation on pharmacy-related questions and medication claim issues • Maintain accurate medication records and documentation • Deliver professional communication within required timeframes • Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements • Active Illinois Pharmacist license • Must live in the state of Illinois • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy • Minimum 3 years of experience; clinical experience preferred • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English • High attention to detail and strong organizational ability • Ability to work full-time during operating hours Schedule • Training: January 25, 2026 (8 AM5 PM CST, 100% attendance required) • Production Hours: MondayFriday, 7:15 AM6:15 PM CST • Minimum 8 hours per day per pharmacist • No weekend work Compensation and Benefits • Hourly Rate: Training - $60 per hour, Production - $62 per hour, • Paid monthly • Paid training • Laptop and monitor provided • Remote work, MondayFriday schedule • 30-minute paid lunch break If you are a licensed Illinois Pharmacist with strong communication skills and attention to detail, we encourage you to apply promptly.
