[Remote] Performance Marketing Specialist

Brightside Marketing is focused on developing the next generation of digital marketing leaders, specializing in building high-performing acquisition systems for various brands. They are seeking a Performance Marketing Specialist to manage and optimize paid media campaigns, particularly on Meta and TikTok, while also supporting Google Ads initiatives.
Responsibilities
β’ Build, launch, manage, and optimize campaigns across Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and Google Ads
β’ Manage campaign structures, audiences, placements, budgets, creative tests, and conversion objectives
β’ Support campaigns across Search, Performance Max, YouTube, Demand Gen, retargeting, lead generation, traffic, and conversion campaigns
β’ Monitor pacing and performance daily to ensure campaigns hit KPI targets
β’ Analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve CTR, CPC, CPM, CVR, CPL, CPA, ROAS, and overall efficiency
β’ Translate data into clear optimization recommendations and actionable next steps
β’ Support reporting by summarizing trends, insights, wins, and performance drivers
β’ Assist with dashboard reporting and performance analysis using GA4, Looker Studio, or similar tools
β’ Partner closely with creative and content teams to provide insights on top-performing messaging, offers, hooks, formats, and creative concepts
β’ Write and refine ad copy that drives engagement and conversions
β’ Contribute to creative testing frameworks and landing page optimization recommendations
β’ Support A/B testing initiatives across audiences, creatives, and conversion paths
β’ QA campaign setup thoroughly before launch, including UTMs, audiences, placements, budgets, tracking, pixels, and conversion events
β’ Assist with GA4, GTM, attribution, and conversion tracking implementation and troubleshooting
β’ Help ensure accurate data flow between ad platforms, websites, CRM systems, and reporting tools
Skills
β’ 2β5+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience
β’ Strong expertise in Meta Ads Manager
β’ Experience managing Google Ads campaigns across Search, Performance Max, YouTube, or Demand Gen
β’ Experience optimizing campaigns across prospecting, retargeting, lead generation, and conversion objectives
β’ Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data into action quickly
β’ Excellent attention to detail and strong QA habits
β’ Understanding of attribution, conversion tracking, pixels, UTMs, and funnel performance
β’ Strong communication skills with the ability to explain performance clearly and confidently
β’ Comfortable moving quickly and managing multiple priorities simultaneously
β’ Agency or multi-brand experience is a strong plus
β’ Experience with GA4, GTM, HubSpot, or CRM integrations
β’ Experience with fitness, wellness, franchise, local service, or e-commerce brands
β’ Google Ads, GA4, or Meta certifications
β’ Experience with landing page optimization and CRO testing
β’ Familiarity with Looker Studio or performance dashboards
β’ Programmatic advertising experience
