[Remote] Performance Analyst

The Performance Analyst will support the analysis of user performance needs, develop test scripts, evaluate performance reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders, contributing to the delivery of high-quality federal health IT solutions.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze user performance needs and translate findings into actionable, testable IT system requirements documentsDevelop comprehensive test scripts to ensure thorough assessment of system performance against each defined requirementExecute or support execution of performance testing across all development and testing phases (unit, integration, system, UAT, regression)Evaluate performance reports and testing results, documenting findings in formal test reports with clear traceability to requirementsTrace test results to requirements and present findings in clear oral and written reports to technical and non-technical stakeholdersIdentify performance deficiencies, document defect reports, and coordinate with development teams to resolve issuesDevelop and maintain requirements traceability matrices (RTMs) to ensure full coverage of system requirements throughout testing lifecyclesParticipate in requirements reviews, test readiness reviews, and post-testing retrospectivesSupport development and maintenance of performance measurement frameworks aligned with program KPIs and success criteriaPrepare and deliver status briefings, technical reports, and presentations communicating testing progress and outcomesSkillsBachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Health Informatics, or a related technical fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in performance analysis, system testing, or IT requirements analysisDemonstrated experience analyzing user performance needs and developing testable IT system requirementsProficiency in creating test scripts, test plans, and test procedures for complex IT systemsExperience conducting system performance evaluations across multiple testing phases and documenting results in formal test reportsAbility to trace test results to system requirements and present findings in both oral and written formatsFamiliarity with requirements management and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM/Quality Center, Azure DevOps)Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and their testing implicationsStrong written and verbal communication skills; ability to develop formal reports and present findings to diverse audiencesExperience working with the Veterans Health Administration or a similar federal health agency (CDC, CMS, DHA, HHS, etc.)Active security clearance or ability to obtain oneInternational Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certified Tester Foundation Level or higherCertified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE), or equivalent certificationFamiliarity with VA system testing environments, VistA testing protocols, or VA EHRM (EHR Modernization) performance test activitiesExperience in Agile or SAFe testing roles, including sprint testing, regression, and continuous integration pipelinesKnowledge of federal security testing requirements, including FISMA assessment and authorization (A&A) testing processesExperience with load/stress testing tools (e.g., Apache JMeter, LoadRunner) and performance benchmarking in healthcare IT environmentsBenefitsHealth, Dental, and Vision PlansShort Term Disability / Long Term Disability / Life Insurance / Accidental Death and DismembermentHealth Savings AccountUnlimited Paid Time Off11 Federal Holidays Off401kCompany OverviewIbility, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOSB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), is located in the Washington DC Metropolitan area.
