[Remote] PeopleSoft Financial Technical Consultant (US Citizens and Green Card only)

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in PeopleSoft Financials and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable solutions while collaborating with functional teams and business stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, customize, and maintain PeopleSoft Financial applications and technical componentsDevelop and enhance PeopleCode, Application Engine programs, SQR reports, BI Publisher reports, Component Interfaces, Application Packages, and Fluid componentsSupport and enhance PeopleSoft Financial modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Purchasing (PO), Asset Management (AM), Billing, Projects, and Commitment ControlBuild and maintain integrations using Integration Broker, REST/SOAP web services, APIs, file-based interfaces, and third-party systemsDevelop and optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL scripts, and database objects for improved system performancePerform root cause analysis and resolve production issues, defects, and data inconsistenciesParticipate in application upgrades, PeopleTools upgrades, patches, and migration activitiesCollaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather technical requirements and translate them into scalable solutionsDesign technical specifications, coding standards, unit test plans, and deployment documentationSupport batch processing, interface monitoring, and scheduled jobsConduct code reviews and ensure compliance with organizational development standards and best practicesWork with DevOps, database administrators, and infrastructure teams during deployments and release cyclesParticipate in system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production implementation activitiesProvide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers and support teamsSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field5+ years of hands-on experience developing and supporting PeopleSoft Financial applicationsStrong expertise with PeopleTools development, including: PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Component Interfaces, Application Designer, Integration Broker, Application Packages, BI Publisher, Fluid DevelopmentExperience supporting PeopleSoft Financial modules such as GL, AP, AR, PO, Asset Management, Billing, Projects, and Commitment ControlAdvanced SQL and database programming skills (Oracle preferred)Experience developing REST/SOAP integrations and working with XML/JSONStrong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, security, and migration toolsExperience with performance tuning and troubleshooting complex technical issuesKnowledge of SDLC methodologies, Agile development practices, and version control toolsExcellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience with PeopleTools upgrades and PeopleSoft Image updatesExposure to Oracle Cloud integrations or hybrid ERP environmentsExperience with Kibana, Splunk, or enterprise monitoring toolsKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processesExperience working in large enterprise or public sector environmentsPeopleSoft certifications or Oracle certifications are highly desirableCompany OverviewAppLab Systems has a strong reputation as a Recruitment, Staffing, Healthcare and information technology consulting company.
