They are seeking a People Systems Platform Engineer to own, scale, and optimize their internal Salesforce platform, ensuring it is secure and effectively integrated with other systems.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable configurations and customisations within the Salesforce platform — serving as the technical anchor for our People Salesforce environment and balancing critical KLTO (Keep Lights On) operations with high-impact strategic projectsBuild robust, maintainable declarative solutions — including Advanced Flows and Approval Processes — and collaborate with developers on programmatic solutions (Apex, LWC) when the complexity of the requirement demands itOwn and optimize data pipelines and API integrations between Salesforce and core People systems (e.g. Workday), ensuring reliable, secure, and auditable data flows across our People tech stackMaintain strict data privacy standards by managing profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and field-level security for sensitive HR data — upholding a rigorous posture on platform governance, change management, and SOX-relevant controlsOwn the deployment pipeline to ensure smooth, well-tested releases of new HR features with minimal disruption to the People teams that depend on themMonitor app health and performance across critical People workflows, triage incidents with urgency and rigour, and implement observability best practices — including logs and metrics — so issues are detected and resolved before they impact employeesBuild complex reports, dashboards, and CRM Analytics to help the People team track key metrics like case resolution times, employee sentiment, and service delivery performance — translating data into actionable leadership insightsWork alongside the broader People Solutions team to translate business requirements into a prioritised Salesforce product roadmap, driving initiatives from discovery through deployment and ensuring our platform evolves ahead of Stripe's growthPartner with Global People Operations, People partners, wider People team, Corporate Technology, and other stakeholders to translate complex business needs into scalable technical requirements — setting clear expectations, managing project timelines, and escalating risks proactively so that pressure never becomes blockageSkills5+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Engineer, Platform Specialist, or Advanced Administrator, ideally supporting internal employee-facing systems or HR techDeep knowledge of HR Service, Service Cloud (Case Management, Knowledge Base, Omni-Channel) and Experience Cloud (Employee Portals) with proven ability to design and deliver solutions end-to-endProficient with Salesforce Flow, data migration tools (Data Loader), and a solid understanding of relational databasesProven experience handling highly confidential data with strict governance and security controlsSalesforce Certified Administrator and Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder are highly preferredStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to set clear expectations with senior stakeholders and the confidence to escalate issues when necessaryAbility to lead cross-functional projects, navigating ambiguity and high-pressure timelines with a sense of urgencyBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experienceExperience with Salesforce Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC)Familiarity with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, ADP) and integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Workato, Zapier)Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment using tools like JiraFamiliarity with HR service delivery models, case management workflows, and the broader People/HR technology landscapeYou are a 'low-ego, high-talent' individual who loves adding organization to chaos- bringing clarity to ambiguous problems and building durable solutions that scaleBenefitsEquityCompany bonus or sales commissions/bonuses401(k) planMedical, dental, and vision benefitsWellness stipendsCompany OverviewStripe is a financial technology company that provides online payment processing and payment infrastructure for businesses.
