[Remote] People Operations Specialist

They are seeking a People Operations Specialist to manage HR systems, ensure data integrity, and streamline workflows while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve the employee experience.ResponsibilitiesSystem Administration: Maintain our core HR systems (e.g., HRIS, performance platforms, onboarding tools, etc.)Data Integrity & Reporting: Own the accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of employee dataAutomation & Workflow Optimization: Identify manual processes and proactively build scalable solutions using automation and integrations across tools. Translate complex business needs into efficient, repeatable processesEmployee Lifecycle Administration: Process key employment changes — including new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, etc — ensuring timely and accurate updates across People systems and cross-functional stakeholdersUS Immigration Administration: Serve as the day-to-day owner of US visa processes, including H-1B transfers, PERM applications, and other employment-based immigration filings — partnering closely with external and internal counsel and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant executionPolicy & Documentation Ownership: Maintain and update People policies, process documentation, and system configurations to ensure accuracy and accessibility. Serve as a day-to-day resource for People systems questions and troubleshooting across our HR tech stackCompliance & Audits: Ensure system configurations and data meet compliance requirements (e.g., I-9s, security and compensation audits, employment verifications).
