[Remote] Payroll Specialist

The Payroll Specialist role supports global payroll operations, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing across multiple countries while collaborating with HR and Finance. Responsibilities Process and support global payroll operations using ADP Streamline and ADP Celergo Ensure accurate salary calculations, variable compensation, and deductions Collaborate with HR and payroll vendors to comply with country-specific tax and statutory requirements Maintain relationships with global payroll vendors and track regulatory updates Review and complete quarterly and annual filings and government submissions Serve as primary contact for employee payroll inquiries Recommend improvements to payroll accuracy and efficiency Prepare and review payroll-related journal entries in multiple countries Perform account reconciliations and support compliance with accounting policies Coordinate with Accounting and Finance for accurate reporting and audits Validate integrations between HRIS and payroll systems and resolve discrepancies Participate in automation and continuous process improvement initiatives Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, and Accounting Communicate proactively with leadership about risks and compliance gaps Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 0–2 years of accounting or payroll experience Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment Experience in global payroll environments Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems Benefits High income earning opportunities based on self-performance Employee stock purchase plan (ESPP) Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing Generous global benefits Company Overview RemoteHunter is your dedicated AI job search assistant, turning the job hunt from a slow, individual effort into a quicker, smarter, and guided experience by streamlining each step of the process and speeding up your path to the right career opportunities.
