[Remote] Payroll Project Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Tech One IT is seeking a Payroll Project Manager to lead payroll and time tracking implementation projects, focusing on the AMS region. The role involves managing project delivery, ensuring compliance with global standards, and driving process improvements.ResponsibilitiesCoordination and delivery of a project on time, within budget, with required quality and within scopeThis includes planning and designing of project, ensuring allocation of resources, controlling and monitoring the progress, resolving issues, ensuring effective MOC and quality assurance, managing communication with stakeholders, managing dependencies and interfaces between projectsProvide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progressMonitoring project deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projectsPerforming detailed requirements analysis and documenting processesDesigning of processes, ensuring the global standards and procedures are being followed and that solutions meet business needs and legal requirementsPerforming a comprehensive analysis of existing payroll and time tracking processes against benchmark of global standards, ad hoc analysis (change impact assessment of processes, fit gap)Identifying out of scope services and re-defining processesPerforming some user acceptance testing if requiredCarrying out risk assessmentIdentifying and implementing of process improvements, driving automation of end-to-end processes to improve metricsImproving compliance and controlSkillsA minimum 4 years of experience as Project ManagerPayroll Process experienceEnglish proficiencyBachelors degree (required)Excellent project management and leadership skillsTechnical system expertise, along with knowledge of integrations and how to design, test and implementExceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills, being able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical usersThe ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutionsProfessional experience working in a multi country roleSuperior oral and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and managementAbility to identify and enact continuous improvement objectivesExcellent time management skills and ability to prioritizeHighly organized self-starter with strong initiative and independenceResults orientedAbility to work effectively in a virtual international environmentExcellent presentation skillsStrong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel)Experience with ADP Workforce Manager, Kronos, SAP Payroll, Replicon, or Workday Time TrackingSpanish speaker a plusPMI certification would be an asset (PMP, Agile)Company OverviewTech One IT is an IT consulting firm that provides IT recruitment, staffing, infrastructure and digital enablement services.
