[Remote] Payroll Connections Specialist

The Payroll Connections Specialist will optimize payroll integrations for clients, ensuring seamless data flow and managing the first 401(k) contributions. This role involves problem-solving, client communication, and collaboration with various departments to improve processes and support clients effectively.ResponsibilitiesBe the main point of contact for clients, responsible for helping them establish technical integrations with 400+ payroll providersDevelop an in-depth understanding of payroll provider systems and interrogate incoming payroll data for accuracy and completenessUse problem-solving and decision-making skills to navigate technical issues which impact the flow of data between the client, Human Interest, and the payroll partnerAccurately evaluate data discrepancies and work independently to make appropriate adjustments, with the understanding that they impact our clients and millions of dollars in assets under managementAssist in drafting procedures detailing the flow of payroll-related information, while demonstrating an understanding of SEC, DOL, and IRS regulations that impact our businessInvestigate technology issues, identify root causes, and work with various departments to develop and implement solutionsIndependently guide clients through data analysis and assist with their data transmission effortsCommunicate professionally to both internal and external clients while focusing on needs-driven solutionsIdentify areas for process improvement and assist in leading projects which may broadly impact our businessSkills3+ years of experience in a professional role demonstrating strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skillsAt least 1 year of dedicated customer service experience paired with exceptional verbal and written communication skillsA robust work ethic and a proven ability to manage projects, work independently, and deliver high-quality results with minimal supervisionPrior experience working with retirement plans or payroll providers, alongside a general grasp of governing industry regulationsThe ability to quickly adapt to various HRIS/client systems, troubleshoot software issues, and execute solutions under tight timelinesA passion for process improvement, a desire to master new programs, and a demonstrated ability to effectively champion changeExtreme, uncompromised attention to detail and a commitment to quality outputExceptional PC literacy, including advanced expertise across the G-Suite product ecosystemBenefitsA great 401(k) plan: Our own!
