Andiamo is hiring on behalf of a client seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Analyst to join a high-volume payroll operations team supporting a large, multi-state workforce. The role involves ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing while leveraging advanced payroll systems and analytical capabilities to support operations and maintain compliance with regulations.ResponsibilitiesSupport the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a large, geographically distributed workforceEnsure payroll activities comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulationsReview payroll transactions, earnings, deductions, taxes, and adjustments to ensure accuracy and completenessPerform payroll audits and validation procedures to identify and resolve discrepancies before payroll finalizationAssist in maintaining payroll controls, procedures, and documentation to support compliance and operational excellenceAnalyze payroll data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvementCreate and maintain reports, reconciliations, and payroll-related analytics using advanced Excel functions and reporting toolsUtilize data-driven insights to support payroll decision-making and operational efficiencyInvestigate payroll variances and provide recommendations for corrective actionsWork within enterprise payroll platforms to process transactions, perform audits, and maintain payroll recordsTroubleshoot payroll system issues, data inconsistencies, and calculation errorsIdentify root causes of payroll discrepancies and implement effective solutionsSupport system enhancements, testing initiatives, and process optimization projectsPartner with Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Benefits, and other internal teams to ensure payroll accuracyProvide payroll expertise and guidance regarding compliance, reporting, and system-related questionsAssist with audits, regulatory reporting requirements, and special payroll projects as neededSkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience4–5+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience in a multi-state environmentExperience supporting payroll operations for large employee populations, preferably 10,000+ employeesStrong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax requirements, wage and hour considerations, and compliance practicesExperience processing and/or auditing payroll within ADP GlobalView, SAP Payroll, or similar enterprise payroll platformsAdvanced Microsoft Excel proficiencyDeep understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and compliance requirementsStrong mathematical aptitude and ability to perform complex payroll calculations with precisionAdvanced Excel skills, including: VLOOKUP, SUMIF and related formulas, IF statements, Pivot tables, Statistical and analytical functionsStrong reporting, reconciliation, and data analysis capabilitiesProven ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve payroll data and formula issuesADP GlobalViewMicrosoft ExcelMicrosoft WordEnterprise payroll and HRIS platformsPC-based business applicationsBenefitsBase salaryIncentive compensationEquityCommissionsBonusesOther forms of compensation where applicableCompany OverviewThe Talent Partners for the AI Revolution.
