Payroll & Accounting Specialist (Contract)
Pay Rate: $22 - $25/hour (based on experience)

A growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Accounting Specialist to support payroll operations and employee expense processing. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely reimbursements while partnering across departments.
Key Responsibilities
• Review, verify, and process employee expense reports in compliance with company policies
• Ensure accurate and timely reimbursements
• Identify and resolve discrepancies or missing information
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Support payroll-related tasks as assigned
• Assist employees with expense-related questions
• Prioritize high-volume workflows and meet deadlines
• Support audits, reporting, and additional accounting functions
Qualifications
• 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll experience
• Advanced Excel skills; strong Microsoft Office proficiency
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Quick learner with new systems and tools

• Strong communication and customer-service mindset
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
