They are seeking a Patient Solutions Representative II to work in a high-volume healthcare call center environment, assisting patients with billing, insurance, and account-related questions.ResponsibilitiesResolve questions related to medical billing, insurance coverage, claims, EOBs, and account balancesDeliver high-quality customer service through inbound and outbound calls in a high-volume environmentSupport patients with payment plans and financial questionsAchieve first call resolution and meet call center performance metricsUse EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech) to research and resolve issuesMaintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentationNavigate multiple systems while managing high call volumeSkills1+ year of experience in a customer service or call center roleExperience in insurance customer service, medical claims, or healthcare call centersAbility to explain insurance benefits, claims, and EOBs clearlyExperience handling high call volume and fast-paced environmentsStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask across systemsFamiliarity with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.)Resolve questions related to medical billing, insurance coverage, claims, EOBs, and account balancesDeliver high-quality customer service through inbound and outbound calls in a high-volume environmentSupport patients with payment plans and financial questionsAchieve first call resolution and meet call center performance metricsUse EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech) to research and resolve issuesMaintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentationNavigate multiple systems while managing high call volumeExperience in health insurance, payer customer service, or medical billing/claims (highly preferred)Health insurance customer service (Optum, UnitedHealthcare, Anthem, Aetna, BCBS)Medical claims or billing support rolesRevenue cycle or patient financial servicesHealthcare contact center / call center environmentsBenefitsCompetitive benefits package.Company OverviewR1 RCM serves as a revenue cycle management partner for hospitals and healthcare systems regardless of the payment models.
