[Remote] Patient Recruitment & Digital Media Manager

The Patient Recruitment & Digital Media Manager will lead the strategy and execution of patient recruitment campaigns for clinical trials, working collaboratively across multiple teams to enhance patient awareness and enrollment.ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of integrated multi-channel patient recruitment campaigns to support patient recruitment for goals across indications and geographiesDevelop strategic digital marketing plans aligned with study timelines, enrollment objectives, patient population dynamics, and budget parametersLead the efforts to overhaul the ImmunityBio website, including developing compliant site copy, images, and navigationPlan, launch, and optimize paid media campaigns across channels including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Search & Display, YouTube, Programmatic, and disease-specific patient communities and advocacy platformsOversee campaign performance in real time and continuously optimize against KPIs, including cost per lead (CPL), conversion rates (CR), qualified patient referrals, site engagement, and enrollment progressionDrive ongoing testing and optimization initiatives, including A/B testing of creative, messaging, audience segmentations, and landing pages experiencesPartner with internal analytics teams and external agencies to develop attribution models and patient journey reporting and actional performance insightsWork with cross-functional teams and external agencies to develop compliant, patient-centric digital content including ad copy, visual assets, landing pages, and educational materialsEnsure all educational materials comply with applicable regulatory, legal, privacy and brand standardsServe as a strategic partner to Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, Legal/Regulatory/PRC, Patient Advocacy, teams to align recruitment campaigns with enrollment priorities, scientific accuracy, and patient community engagement effortsManage relationships with media agencies, publishers, technology vendors, and recruitment partners to ensure high-quality execution and performanceNegotiate media placements, pricing, and performance-based agreements where applicableManage campaign budgets, forecasting, pacing, and resource allocationDevelop and deliver regular executive-level performance reports, dashboards, and insights for internal stakeholdersIdentify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities in patient education, marketing, digital patient recruitment, and engagementStay current on digital trends, privacy changes (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, platform policies), and evolving best practices in patient recruitment marketingSupport broader corporate, clinical, and departmental initiatives through cross-functional projects and leadership contributionsSkillsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or related field required7+ years of experience in digital media, performance marketing, or growth marketing requiredExperience in healthcare, pharma, biotech, CRO, or clinical trial recruitment requiredExperience recruiting patients for clinical trials requiredData-driven mindset with ability to interpret performance metrics and act on themExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAnalytical and performance-orientedDetail-oriented with strong project management skillsComfortable working in cross-functional, fast-paced environmentsAbility to balance creativity with regulatory constraintsStrong written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with IRB/ethics considerations in patient recruitmentKnowledge of patient privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR)Master's degree is preferredExperience working with patient advocacy groups is preferredBenefitsDiscretionary bonusEquity awardMedical, Dental and Vision Plan OptionsHealth and Financial Wellness ProgramsEmployer Assistance Program (EAP)Company Paid and Voluntary Life/AD&D, Short-Term and Long-Term DisabilityHealthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match529 Education Savings ProgramVoluntary Legal Services, Identity Theft Protection, Pet Insurance and Employee Discounts, Rewards and PerksPaid Time Off (PTO) includes: 11 HolidaysExempt Employees are eligible for Unlimited PTONon-Exempt Employees are eligible for 10 Vacation Days, 56 Hours of Health Pay, 2 Personal Days and 1 Cultural DayWe are committed to providing you with the tools and resources you need to optimize your Health and Wellness.Company OverviewImmunityBio, Inc.
