The Patient Assistant Lead will build and lead the financial counselor team for Adparo, overseeing operations and driving strategic initiatives to improve patient care access. Responsibilities β€’ Support the growth of the team: help hire, develop, and mentor team members; plan for the future by identifying and addressing bottlenecks, gaps, and risks β€’ Proactively contribute to the strategic direction and priorities of the Adparo team based on the needs of Annexus Health β€’ Oversee the daily performance of our team of financial counselors and lead process improvement initiatives to help make the Adparo team’s work more effective and efficient to meet the needs of Annexus Health β€’ Contribute to the design, documentation, and execution of scalable client implementation and account management workflows β€’ Work cross-functionally with other Annexus Health teams, including Product, Support, and Provider Solutions β€’ Monitor and manage issues and escalate to the Director of Adparo as needed Skills β€’ Experienced leader of people and complex operations β€’ Expertise in financial assistance management operations and strategy β€’ Proficient in payer billing and requirements; experience working with manufacturer and foundation programs a plus β€’ Proven experience in healthcare billing β€’ Ability to plan and structure the department workflow and staffing β€’ Ability to manage the workflow for the entire process of bringing in a referral to billing β€’ Ability to review and create efficiencies within the Adparo team β€’ Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications β€’ Great attention to detail β€’ Strong written and verbal communication skills β€’ Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities, and meet deadlines β€’ Strong organizational and administrative skills β€’ Ability/desire to thrive in a service-oriented culture β€’ Quick and deep learner β€’ Driven to make a difference Company Overview β€’ Annexus Health develops solutions that reduce administrative and logistical burdens across the patient journey.
