Job Overview
We are excited to invite a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Merchandiser to our esteemed team, operating remotely in the Olympia, WA area. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with renowned brands within leading home improvement stores, including Lowes, Home Depot, and Walmart, assisting customers in discovering the ideal products for their gardens and lawns.
Key Responsibilities
Design and organize attractive product displays, featuring grass seed, gardening chemicals, and ceramic pottery.
Maintain shelves that are orderly and visually engaging, adhering to store planograms.
Develop and sustain compelling off-shelf displays that effectively showcase our product offerings.
Engage with customers on weekends during peak seasons (comprehensive training provided!), delivering friendly assistance and knowledgeable guidance on products.
Required Skills
Previous experience in merchandising is advantageous.
Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with store management and customers.
Strong reading comprehension to interpret packaging labels and manage tagging projects.
Capability to consistently lift, pull, and bend with items weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the workday.
Proficient in climbing ladders, utilizing a pallet jack, and operating hand tools.
Valid drivers license, good driving record, reliable transportation, and current car insurance documentation.
Daily access to internet/email and a smartphone (Android 13.0+ or Apple iOS 15.0+) for effective communication.
Responsible, reliable, and dependable work ethic.
Commitment to safety and maintaining vigilance on the job.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent; additional educational qualifications in a relevant field are preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation And Benefits
Competitive hourly rate of (22.00 - )23.00 (commensurate with experience).
