Remote Elementary English Teacher for students ages 4-12 Are you a teacher who just graduated, retired, or is looking for a change in your work life? Classover is hiring enthusiastic and engaging teachers for our elementary-level English courses. These courses include topics such as ESL, public speaking, creative writing, and phonics and are for grade levels kindergarten – sixth grade… Why teach with us? We provide all lessons and a user-friendly platform for our teachers to work with their students. While we do have specific hours that we have classes, you will be able to choose the hours that work best with your schedule! Who are we looking for? • Someone who shows expertise in their field and can teach it to students of all ages. • Please, do not apply if you intend to only teach for a few weeks. Our courses are built to last for 15 weeks with minimal interruptions. We expect kind, respectful, reliable, and high-quality candidates. • Required to pass a background check • Must read and answer texts and emails right away. • The ideal candidate will understand the concept of time zone difference and work with it daily and comfortably. • Teachers must be able to work at least some of these hours: • Saturday and Sunday: 5 am-8 am + 8 pm-11 pm EST • Monday – Friday 5am-8am EST • We will confirm what hours you would be available for during the interview. What would make you stand out from the crowd? • A bachelor’s degree in elementary education, education, or an English-related field. • US work authorization only • Teaching experience (including homeschooling, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, and other experiences) is preferred. • Teaching certification is preferred. What do we provide to you? • Access to materials for classes and access to an amazing user-friendly platform • Our base salary is 15 dollars an hour for the first three months. After the first three months, teachers will be evaluated to see if they are eligible to go on to tier 2 teaching which qualifies them for multiple types of bonuses.
