We are in search of a proactive and results-oriented individual to join our esteemed team as a Full Charge Bookkeeper. This pivotal role encompasses the preparation of accounting and financial reports, meticulous recording of financial transactions across diverse ledgers, and the reconciliation of accounts. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating journal entries as required and addressing various general accounting tasks. Your expertise will also extend to assisting with payroll and the preparation of sales/use tax returns.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate accounting and financial reports.
Record financial transactions in various ledgers and perform account reconciliations.
Generate journal entries as necessary to ensure accurate financial records.
Undertake various general accounting duties to support financial operations.
Assist with payroll processing and the preparation of sales/use tax returns.
Required Skills
Minimum of 8 years of bookkeeping experience.
Expert proficiency in QuickBooks.
Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, along with other accounting software.
Exceptional organizational abilities with a proven capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse personalities and contribute as a valued team player.
Detail-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated with the capacity to quickly assimilate new processes.
Competent in working independently with minimal supervision and ensuring accuracy in all submissions.
Previous experience in public accounting is desired.
Successful completion of a bookkeeping examination and a background check is required.
Qualifications
Relevant certification in bookkeeping or accounting is preferred.
