Intracruit Solutions is seeking an experienced Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN Engineer to support the design, deployment, optimization, and operational management of enterprise network environments. The role involves delivering secure and high-performing network solutions across distributed and cloud-based environments while collaborating with various teams to ensure adherence to security standards.ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, configure, and maintain Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN environmentsSupport migrations from traditional MPLS and legacy WAN architectures to SD-WAN solutionsConfigure WAN edge devices, application-aware routing policies, and dynamic path selectionImplement and manage IPSec VPNs, GRE tunnels, and secure site-to-site connectivityValidate network performance and ensure successful deployment across enterprise locationsMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance, availability, and reliabilityPerform root cause analysis and resolve complex network and application connectivity issuesExecute software upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management activities for SD-WAN infrastructureSupport hybrid networking environments spanning on-premises data centers and cloud platformsProvide Tier II/Tier III escalation support for critical network incidentsImplement network segmentation, access controls, and security policies across SD-WAN environmentsSupport integration with Palo Alto Prisma Access, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and cloud-delivered security servicesCollaborate with security teams to ensure adherence to enterprise security standards and best practicesAssist in securing application traffic and user access across distributed environmentsDevelop automation solutions for device provisioning, configuration management, monitoring and alertingUtilize scripting and APIs to streamline operational processesIntegrate SD-WAN platforms with Active Directory / LDAP, SIEM solutions, and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCPSupport infrastructure-as-code and network automation initiativesCreate and maintain network documentation, architecture diagrams, operational runbooks, and troubleshooting guidesWork closely with Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, and Operations teamsParticipate in change management, incident response, and post-incident reviewsProvide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to internal teamsSkills3–7+ years of network engineering experienceHands-on experience supporting SD-WAN and/or SASE environmentsStrong background in enterprise networking and network securityExperience supporting geographically distributed enterprise networksHands-on experience with Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN (CloudGenix)Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)VPN technologies (IPSec, GRE)TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCPKnowledge of network segmentation and security best practicesExperience administering Windows and Linux-based systemsProficiency in one or more scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, BashExperience utilizing REST APIs and automation frameworksFamiliarity with cloud networking concepts within: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Experience with firewalls, security controls, and network monitoring solutionsExperience with Prisma Access and SASE architecturesExperience supporting large-scale SD-WAN deployments across 50+ locationsUnderstanding of Zero Trust security modelsExperience with network observability and monitoring platformsPalo Alto Networks SD-WAN CertificationPCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer)CCNP EnterpriseAWS, Azure, or GCP Networking CertificationsStrong troubleshooting and analytical capabilitiesAbility to work independently in a remote consulting environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlinesStrong collaboration skills with technical and business stakeholdersCompany OverviewWelcome to Intracruit Recruiting and Staffing Company, where the future takes shape with each placement we make.
