They are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow a territory by promoting electrical and lighting products, conducting sales presentations, and building strong customer relationships.ResponsibilitiesManage and grow a territory by visiting distributors, contractors, OEM’s and end users to promote electrical and lighting productsConducting in-person and virtual sales presentationsDemonstrating product features and benefitsFollowing up on opportunities to drive new businessBuilding and maintaining strong customer relationshipsProviding responsive serviceCollaborating closely with internal teams and manufacturersTracking activities in a CRMPreparing sales reports and forecastsStaying current on product lines, industry trends, and competitive offeringsSkillsStrong skills in Sales Presentations and Communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiencesProven ability in Relationship Building and Customer Service, focused on long-term partnerships and responsive supportExperience in New Business Development, including prospecting, territory growth, and closing opportunitiesComfort working in a hybrid environment, managing time effectively between field visits, office work, and remote activitiesAbility to travel within the assigned territory, hold a valid driver's license, and meet any applicable driving requirementsProficiency with basic office software and CRM tools for tracking opportunities and reporting resultsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious outside sales experience in electrical, lighting, or related industries is strongly preferredAn associate's or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plusCompany OverviewFormed in 1994, E.R.I.
