[Remote] Outside Sales Engineer

They are seeking an Outside Sales Engineer to develop and maintain relationships with municipalities, consulting engineers, and local contractors to drive sales and provide solutions in the municipal market.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and strengthen relationships with existing end users, contractors, and engineers while cultivating new business opportunities and long-term partnershipsProvide engineers and end users with professional product recommendations, technical support, and consistent follow-up to ensure successful project execution and maximize sales growthTake initiative in scheduling customer meetings, coordinating product presentations and promotional events, and maintaining regular communication with your customer baseAttend product training sessions and actively participate in local industry associations, conferences, and trade showsTravel to manufacturers and represented company locations for training and professional development as neededSkillsMinimum of 2 years experience with process equipment and pump sales, with proven success in sales, business development, or account managementStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present technical solutions to engineers, municipalities, contractors, and plant personnelDemonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, and follow-throughProven skills in consultative selling, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolutionHighly self-motivated with strong organizational, time management, and territory management abilitiesComfortable conducting in-person meetings, product demonstrations, and technical presentationsAbility to work independently while managing multiple projects, priorities, and customer accountsValid U.S. driver's license requiredAbility and willingness to travel in an assigned territoryExperience within the municipal water/wastewater industry is preferredProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license is a plusProficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/customer relationship management software preferredCompany OverviewUFT is an integrated platform focused on delivering products and technical solutions to water environment professionals, including sophisticated engineers and operators in the water and wastewater industry.
