[Remote] Operations Technician
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Optomi is partnering with a leading services provider to seek an Operations Technician for their Network Operations Center (NOC). This role is vital for maintaining broadband network reliability and involves monitoring network alarms, troubleshooting issues, and providing support in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesMonitor network alarms and proactively respond to service eventsOpen, manage, escalate, and close trouble tickets in accordance with proceduresAnalyze, diagnose, isolate, and resolve broadband network issuesCoordinate with field operations, technical support, and escalation teamsProvide Tier I support across supported broadband platformsDocument outages, maintenance activities, and repair actions clearlyManage multiple trouble reports and prioritize critical service eventsCommunicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and off-net providersSupport overnight and off-hours coverage as part of a 24x7 NOC rotationSkillsAbility to work any shift in a 24x7x365 operational environmentExperience working in network operations, telecom, or a NOC environmentHands-on experience monitoring and troubleshooting network devices remotelyFamiliarity with broadband platforms such as CALIX, ADTRAN, UMC1000, or AFCUnderstanding of Broadband / DSLAM network topologyBasic knowledge of telecom network architecture and repair proceduresBenefitsWorking 100% remotely in a true Network Operations environment!Gaining training and exposure to enterprise telecom platforms and monitoring tools!Being part of a team focused on improving 24x7 network reliability!Operating in a collaborative NOC culture with clear escalation paths!Company OverviewOPTOMI is an IT staffing firm that serves its consultants, clients, and employees through its consultant-focused approach.
