[Remote] Operations Supervisor

This role involves leading daily operations, ensuring safe and efficient service delivery, managing performance metrics, and overseeing staffing and development of technical teams.ResponsibilitiesLead daily operations for your designated area(s), ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective service delivery to clients and building occupantsYou'll provide direct operational support to field teams, track and report performance metrics, and collaborate with fellow Operations Managers to ensure regional consistencyYour role includes leveraging specialized skills to streamline projects and processes while participating in talent acquisition and onboarding of technical staffCommunicate owner/landlord processes to engineering teams and contractors performing building infrastructure workIdentify, implement, and execute updates to policies, procedures, and best practicesPartner with EH&S and account management to identify safety hazards and ensure safe work environmentsManage refrigerant purchases and tracking complianceGather and compile data for business reporting requirementsTrack and monitor SLA performance metricsManage work orders and NTE (Not-to-Exceed) approvals in Corrigo systemOversee budget planning and forecasting processesDirect operations, staffing, performance, and development of technical teamsConduct performance reviews and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and training requirementsRecruit, interview, and onboard technical staffSupport special projects and other duties as assignedSkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 7 years of technical experience in building engineering with strong expertise in packaged HVAC equipment repair, refrigeration, maintenance, and overall system design and applicationProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience with CMMS systems (Corrigo or similar)Understanding of HVAC systems, refrigeration principles, and building automationStrong organizational and management capabilitiesExcellent interpersonal and supervisory skills with customer service focusStrong analytical abilities and attention to detailEffective business writing and verbal communicationAbility to multi-task and work independently or collaborativelyAdaptable to dynamic work environments and change managementValid Driver's LicenseUniversal EPA Refrigerant Certification8+ years of building engineering operations experiencePrevious management or supervisory experience in commercial real estate or facilities managementExperience with budget management and financial forecastingTrade-specific certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)Safety certifications (OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR)Building operator or facilities management credentialsFamiliarity with JLL systems and processesAdvanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting toolsExperience with energy management and sustainability initiativesBenefits401(k) plan with matching company contributionsComprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision CarePaid parental leave at 100% of salaryPaid Time Off and Company HolidaysEarly access to earned wages through Daily PayCompany OverviewWe’re a leading professional services firm that specializes in real estate and investment management.
