[Remote] Operations Specialist I - SES

Alliant Insurance Services is seeking an Operations Specialist I to provide administrative and transactional support to SES leadership and internal teams. The role focuses on accurate data entry, communication support, and processing insurance for Financial Institutions' trust-owned assets.ResponsibilitiesEnter, update, and maintain property insurance, occupancy, and valuation data in SES systemsEnsure records are accurate, complete, and audit-ready in accordance with established workflowsSet up and maintain standard internal coverage records and external policy tracking. This includes renewal status updates and required documentationAttach, index, and organize supporting documentation to ensure complete files and proper system recordsProcess routine endorsements and submit completed insurance transactions through defined SES workflows under senior supervisionSend pre-defined correspondence related to external policy follow-ups and renewalsEscalate exceptions or non-standard issues to senior staffPrepare and validate routine billing entriesAssist with basic discrepancy reviews and respond to routine billing, reporting, documentation, and system-related inquiries within defined scopeRoute complex items appropriatelyAnswer incoming calls professionally, handle routine inquiries, and document call activity in SES systemsRoute non-standard or coverage-related questions to licensed or senior personnelMonitor assigned individual and shared Trust team inboxesCategorize and prioritize messages, respond using approved templates or professional ad-hoc communication as needed, and document key communications in SES systemsEscalate complex or non-standard inquiries received via phone or email to senior or licensed personnel in accordance with established proceduresAssist with First Notice of Loss (FNOL) by collecting initial claim details, submitting FNOL through approved workflows or carrier portals, and maintaining claim documentationFollow up on claim status with carriers or adjustersRequest loss runs using standard procedures and maintain accurate, up-to-date claim recordsHandle assigned workflow queues to meet service-level expectationsEscalate unclear or unusual items, provide feedback on recurring issues to support process improvement, and assist with basic analysis and special projectsPerforms all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operatesPerforms other duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong telephone, listening, and email communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyHighly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasksAbility to work effectively within a team and foster a collaborative environmentDemonstrated ability to adapt and remain effective in a dynamic, changing environmentProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)One (1) or more years in insurance operations, trust administration, financial services, or customer service preferredCompany OverviewAlliant Insurance Services is a distributor of diversified insurance products and services.
