Remote Operations Manager - Amazon
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a Remote Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Amazon associates in a fast-paced distribution warehouse environment. You will have the opportunity to invest in others, foster a collaborative leadership style, and utilize the tools, processes, and operations that have made Amazon the most customer-driven company in the world.
Key Responsibilities:
Mentor, manage, and develop a team of 50-200 Amazon associates
Convey policies to your team and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance, consistency, and taking corrective action when required
Create, manage, and sustain recognition programs
Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe working environment for all associates
Ensure procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention
Collaborate with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards
Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality
Requirements:
Bachelor's or graduate degree with a conferral date between May 2021 and August 2023
Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, access all areas of the building, and lift/move items up to 49 pounds
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to evaluate and dive deep into data to provide unique, practical business solutions
Proven history of taking ownership and driving results
