They are seeking an Operations Management Consultant to conduct data-based analyses, implement operational improvements, and lead teams in various industries while supporting entrepreneurial growth initiatives.ResponsibilitiesConduct data-based analyses to develop operational improvements across various industriesLead teams to implement action plans and achieve sustainable resultsFocus on key areas of improvement, including lean manufacturing, supply chain optimization, and cost reductionIdentify new business opportunities with clientsContribute to the development of internal tools, methods, and processesCoach and mentor junior colleaguesSupport entrepreneurial growth initiatives within the companySkills10+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain management, continuous improvement, or similar fieldsAdvanced degree in engineering, science, or a related field; or an undergraduate degree plus an MBAProject management experience and proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPointStrong background in lean manufacturing, supply chain management, and cost optimization, with experience in post-merger integration and plant expansionsKnowledge/Implementation of business intelligence infrastructure and collection and analysis of data sets with Microsoft BI, Minitab, R, Tableau or similar softwareExpertise in operations and leading complex work streams in complicated organizationsThe ability to work independently and lead teams effectivelyWillingness to travel 90-100% of the timeCompany OverviewTargus is a leading international management consultancy for operations.
