[Remote] Operations Lead

The Operations Lead will support operational sustainment and service delivery, leading day-to-day operational execution across various technical disciplines to ensure stable mission operations.ResponsibilitiesLead daily operational support activities to maintain REMIS system stability, availability, and continuity of serviceCoordinate sustainment activities across the Operations Support Team including:Database AdministrationSystems AdministrationCybersecurity / IATesting & ValidationDevelopment SupportBusiness Intelligence / Functional SupportConfiguration Management & DocumentationEnsure operational support aligns with contractual service expectations, operational procedures, and mission requirementsSupport continuity of operations during transition, onboarding, release, and modernization activitiesLead operational incident coordination, issue triage, escalation management, and service restoration activitiesCoordinate cross-functional resolution efforts for operational issues and production-impacting eventsMonitor operational risks, recurring issues, and service performance trendsSupport root cause analysis and corrective action coordination for operational failures or degraded service conditionsServe as the operational integration point between:Operations support teamsAgile development teamsPlatform/DevSecOps teamsGovernment stakeholdersCoordinate operational readiness activities associated with deployments, releases, environment changes, and sustainment initiativesEnsure operational impacts and dependencies are communicated across teamsMaintain visibility into operational status, risks, issues, escalations, and support activitiesSupport operational reporting activities including dashboards, metrics, AIR logs, and status reportingProvide timely communication and operational transparency to Program Management and Government stakeholdersAssist in maintaining operational procedures, support documentation, and sustainment processesIdentify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, automation, monitoring, and support responsivenessSupport adoption of Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD operational practices where applicableCollaborate with engineering and platform teams to improve operational readiness and deployment qualityContribute to lessons learned, continuous improvement initiatives, and operational maturity effortsSkillsSecret – Fully Cleared Only, must confirm clearance is activeDoD 8140 intermediate certification or DoD 8570 IAM Level II certifications or higherUS Citizens OnlyBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience supporting enterprise operational environments, production support, or IT sustainment activitiesExperience coordinating operational support activities across multiple technical disciplinesExperience supporting mission-critical or high-availability systemsStrong understanding of operational support processes, issue management, and sustainment coordinationExperience working within Agile or hybrid Agile delivery environmentsStrong communication, organizational, and coordination skillsAbility to manage competing priorities in fast-paced operational environmentsExperience working with Agile development teams of 20+ FTEs and be familiar with Agile methodologiesPrior Department of Defense (DoD) or Air Force support experienceExperience supporting enterprise systems within secure cloud or hybrid environmentsFamiliarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD, or modern operational support modelsExperience using Jira, Confluence, Service Management, or operational tracking platformsExperience supporting operational transitions or onboarding effortsITIL, Scrum, Agile, Security+, or related certifications preferredExperience supporting data-intensive or enterprise maintenance systems preferredBenefitsCompetitive payComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurancePaid life insurancePaid time off11 paid holidaysPerformance bonusesTuition reimbursementUnlimited trainingThe opportunity to thrive in a collaborative, flexible, and innovative environmentCompany OverviewConcept Plus is a technology services company offering deep technical expertise, an experienced team, and a dedication to maximizing business productivity.
