[Remote] Operations Development Specialist -- Logistics & Trade (Remote)

The role involves managing logistics and customs for inbound shipments, leading operational readiness for group accounts, and supporting new territory expansion.ResponsibilitiesManage day to day import operations from Asia: documentation accuracy, customs broker coordination, and carrier schedulingMonitor all inbound shipments; proactively communicate clearance status, holds, delays, and mitigation plansAdvise Customer Support of any local customs holds impacting delivery timelinesCommunicate delivery schedule changes, new ship dates, and mitigation steps to stakeholdersCoordinate with regulatory on logistics gaps and recommend process improvementsEnsure import documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, HS/HTS codes, Incoterms, etc.) is accurate and compliantPartner with freight forwarders, 3PLs, and couriers to secure on-time deliveriesCollaborate with Finance and Operations on landed cost accuracy and intercompany chargesTrack lane performance, analyze costs, and recommend operational improvementsStay current on customs regulations and update SOPs and stakeholders accordinglyLead operational setup and readiness for DSOs/OSOs headquartered in AsiaServe as the operational point of contact for group accountsDrive cross-partner process improvements and operational initiativesBuild and maintain operational dashboardsResolve escalations and improve overall group account experienceSupport operational planning for new North American market entriesEvaluate logistics, customs, and fulfillment requirements for new territoriesSupport system setup requirements for new territoriesAssist with risk assessments, contingency planning, and pilot executionSkillsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field3+ years of experience in international logistics or import operationsStrong knowledge of customs compliance, FDA and CBP regulations, HS/HTS, and IncotermsStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentExperience supporting complex or multi-site customers preferredMedical device or healthcare operations experience preferredCompany OverviewAngel Aligner is a global leader in clear aligner technology, combining clinical expertise with over 20 years of experience.
