The Operations Business Analyst I role involves gathering business requirements, supporting process mapping, and assisting with data collection while collaborating with cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesAssist in gathering and documenting business requirements from internal stakeholdersSupport process mapping, documentation, and the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs)Participate in stakeholder meetings to capture action items and identify potential process improvementsAssist with data collection, validation, and entry into reports or dashboards under guidanceContribute to the development of training materials, job aids, or reference guides in collaboration with SMEsMaintain organized documentation repositories and assist with version controlHelp monitor project timelines and task completion using basic project tracking toolsWork closely with cross-functional teams to learn and support various operational workflowsDemonstrate continuous learning and actively seek mentorship from senior analystsMonitor updates to regulatory requirements and integrate changes to maintain complianceUnderstand and apply basic project management principles to manage documentation development timelines, track progress, and communicate status to stakeholdersSkillsHigh School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)Advanced computer skills in MS Office productsA valid and current Driver's LicenseAuto InsuranceProfessional licensure(s)1–2 years of experience in an operations, administrative, or business analyst role (internship or full-time)Strong written and verbal communication skillsBasic knowledge of process improvement methodologies and data analysis toolsFamiliarity with project tracking tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Excel, or equivalent)Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasksStrong attention to detail and a willingness to learnCompany OverviewGold Coast Health Plan is a non-profit organization that offers all kinds of health insurance plans.
