[Remote] Operations Analyst, Plan Loading

The Operations Analyst, Plan Loading will support projects aimed at improving the accuracy and efficiency of processes through system configuration and collaboration with stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed oriented work with a high level of accuracy and adherence to all QA/QC protocolsExperience with designs, builds, and configuration workflows and utilize this knowledge to develop insights into opportunities for workflow improvementsUnderstand aggregated configuration data to identify updates required and to measure the impact of any changes on internal operations and existing configurationLoad configuration data into the core system accurately and in a timely mannerUse internal tools and technical processes, in particular database querying and benefit or reimbursement configuration conceptsBuild SQL queries and translate technical analyses into easily digestible communications to a nontechnical audienceIdentify and report on any data/data infrastructure gaps, deficiencies, or irregularitiesCompliance with all applicable laws and regulationsOther duties as assignedSkills1+ years of working knowledge of health plan benefit concepts (e.g., deductibles and other forms of cost sharing, etc.)1+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and/or comparable programs within the Google Docs Editors suite (e.g., Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides)1+ years of experience manipulating and analyzing large data sets using excel or a similar database language to solve business problemsA bachelor's degree or 4 years commensurate experienceWorking knowledge of medical coding concepts (e.g., CPT, HCPCs and ICD-10 coding)Proficiency in SQLBenefitsEmployee benefitsParticipation in Oscar's unlimited vacation programAnnual performance bonusesMedical, dental, and vision benefits11 paid holidaysPaid sick timePaid parental leave401(k) plan participationLife and disability insurancePaid wellness time and reimbursementsCompany OverviewOscar is a health insurance company that offers individual and family plans, medicare advantages, and small group products.
