Job Summary As a Remote Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving the operational success of Sun Country Airlines. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing and reporting on operational metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and developing data-driven solutions to optimize business performance. Key Responsibilities Compile and report on daily, monthly, and year-to-date operational metrics, comparing performance to goals and identifying areas for improvement. Analyze data to identify root causes of variances to goal by operational area, and develop recommendations for improvement. Design and build scorecards using existing systems, and collaborate with IT to develop automated reporting through Business Intelligence (BI) and related tools. Clarify and coordinate delay and cancellation coding to ensure accurate data for analysis. Assess changes to schedule structure for risks to operational reliability, such as schedule tightness and recoverability options. Build city-pair, time-of-day, and season-of-year specific scheduled block times using historical data, trends, and predicted variations. Conduct continuous improvement analysis of actual block times relative to scheduled block times to reduce variance and standard deviation. Perform ad-hoc analyses as requested by management. Other responsibilities assigned by management. Qualifications and Education Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for data-driven decision making. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. Strong analytical skills, including the ability to manipulate large volumes of data. Excellent Excel skills, including pivot tables, graphs, macros, and linked spreadsheets. Ability to summarize and communicate the results of/conclusions from data analysis. 1-2 years of analytical experience, including working as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Experience with network schedule tools such as Sabre Schedule Manager.
