[Remote] Operations Analyst

Blitzoo is a fast-growing online social gaming company looking for an Operations Analyst to support day-to-day operations in payments, fraud prevention, KYC, and player account support. The role involves reviewing accounts, processing redemptions, handling verification tasks, investigating suspicious activity, and producing operational reports.ResponsibilitiesReview player accounts and transactions for fraud indicators and take action or escalate as neededReview and process redemption requests in line with internal controls and proceduresReview and process KYC documents, including manual verification and follow-up for missing informationInvestigate suspicious activity, linked account behavior, payment abuse, bonus abuse, and other fraud patternsMonitor player activity and account behavior using available internal and third-party toolsSupport AML and compliance-related reviews by identifying concerns and escalating appropriatelyInvestigate and help resolve escalated player inquiries related to payments, verification, account restrictions, and risk decisionsGenerate recurring and ad hoc reports for leadership on fraud trends, redemption activity, KYC volumes, operational issues, and emerging risksDocument findings clearly and maintain accurate case notes, account records, and audit-ready supportProvide feedback on systems, tooling, workflows, and controls to improve efficiency and reduce riskContribute to SOPs, process documentation, internal guides, and team manualsStay informed on fraud trends, payment abuse tactics, and operational risks relevant to online gaming and ecommercePartner cross-functionally with customer support, compliance, product, and leadership as neededSkillsHigh school diploma requiredRecent hands-on experience in payments, fraud, risk, and KYC within online casino, sweepstakes, sports betting, poker or regulated iGaming environmentsWorking knowledge of AML, KYC, and compliance-related processes, including document review, verification workflows, and escalation handlingExperience producing reports, analysis, and operational summaries for management, with strong Excel skills and a data-driven mindsetAbility to identify trends, investigate issues thoroughly, and make sound, well-documented decisionsExperience working across payments, fraud, KYC, and compliance functions, including communicating findings or escalations to leadershipComfort in a startup or fast-paced environment where priorities and processes evolveExperience identifying process gaps, suggesting improvements, and contributing to SOPs or internal documentationStrong judgment, organization, and ability to work effectively with limited oversightTech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools quickly, including using AI to improve work quality, efficiency, reporting, and documentationStrong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, collaborative mindset, and willingness to support flexible business needs when requiredAbility to work remotely full-time from the United States on an Eastern Time-aligned scheduleMust be a self-motivated team player with the ability to work in a customer-oriented, very fast-paced, and demanding environmentMust be able to meet or exceed set project milestones and deadlines, which will entail extra work time as needed (work hours beyond a normal work week)Experience with redemption or withdrawal review workflowsExperience with fraud tools, case management systems, KYC vendors, or payment platformsExperience spotting trends across multiple accounts, devices, payments, or behaviorsExperience supporting audits, escalations, or control reviewsBenefitsCompetitive salary and equity.Flexible working environment.Professional growth opportunities in an innovative, high-energy industry.A full range of comprehensive benefits including stock options, medical, dental, life and long-term disability insurance, and a matching 401k.Company OverviewBlitzoo is a development studio.
