Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. onPeak is seeking a high-performing, relationship-driven Director of Business Development to drive new business growth within the events, exhibitions, and association space. The role involves managing the full sales lifecycle, building long-term client partnerships, and contributing to the company's go-to-market strategy.ResponsibilitiesDrive new business acquisition across events, exhibitions, and association clientsOwn the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, positioning, pitching, and closingBuild and manage a robust pipeline with accurate forecasting and consistent reportingDevelop tailored, value-driven proposals aligned to client objectivesBuild and maintain strong relationships across organizers, partners, and stakeholdersCollaborate internally to ensure seamless execution and client success and satisfactionRepresent onPeak onsite at events and in key client engagements (pre- and post-event)Contribute to broader go-to-market strategy and growth initiativesSkills5+ years of business development experience, including 2+ years at a Director (or equivalent senior) levelProven success selling housing or event accommodation solutions with a strong network across associations, exhibitions and/or large-scale eventsDeep understanding of the hotel, events, and conference ecosystemStrong network within associations, exhibitions, and/or large-scale eventsDemonstrated ability to generate, manage and close complex sales opportunities with a consultative, relationship-first approachStrong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to translate client needs into business valueProficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce a plus) with disciplined pipeline management and forecastingAdvanced Microsoft Office 365 skills and exceptional executive-level presentation and storytelling abilitiesHighly motivated, results-oriented self-starter with strong attention to detail and operational rigorWillingness to travel extensively, including evenings and weekends as neededBenefitsCompetitive salaries401K with company matchHealthcare/vision/dental insuranceWellness benefitsCareer development programEmployee assistance programVacation timeCommunity involvement opportunitiesTeam activitiesCompany OverviewOnPeak provides hotel accommodations solutions for conferencing, trade show housing and event management sectors.
