The Oncology Account Executive is responsible for driving territory growth through new account acquisition and expansion of existing customer relationships, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and building strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesDrive new account acquisition and organic growth through strategic prospecting, value-based selling, and clinical educationPosition Caris as a preferred or sole-source provider of tumor profiling and molecular intelligence solutionsAnalyze territory opportunities and develop strategic sales plans to achieve growth objectivesMeet or exceed assigned revenue, activity, and performance targetsBuild and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent in-person engagementEnsure a seamless customer experience across the full order lifecycleMaintain open communication with key account stakeholders and escalate issues when satisfaction is at riskExecute retention strategies and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunitiesEngage with oncology clinicians and allied teams across clinics, pathology labs, and hospital settingsSupport physicians with ordering and interpretation of the CMI platform, including access to PHI when requiredDemonstrate and advise on technology solutions such as portals, EMR integrations, and workflowsMaintain strong knowledge of molecular profiling, biomarkers, and competitive offeringsProvide consultative guidance on billing, reimbursement, and payer dynamicsServe as a resource on laboratory reimbursement and operational workflowsShare market trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights with leadershipCollaborate with Client Services, Regional Business Directors, and Commercial LeadershipMaintain accurate CRM documentation and complete required administrative tasksMaintain assigned company assetsSupport meetings, conferences, and trade shows as requiredPerform other duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree requiredMinimum of 3 years of relevant sales experienceStrong understanding of oncology practices and molecular diagnosticsKnowledge of billing and reimbursement environmentsExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM toolsValid driver's license and willingness to travel regularlySuccessful completion of pre-employment requirements5+ years of sales experience with oncology or molecular diagnostics focusEstablished oncology or pathology relationshipsFamiliarity with hospital systems and pathology networksCompany OverviewCaris Life Sciences develops molecular profiling and AI-driven technologies to support precision medicine in oncology.
