[Remote] OEM Business Development Sales Manager

Garlock Family of Companies is seeking a dynamic and results-driven OEM Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth initiatives across their metal gaskets, compression packing, and Klozure® sealing solutions. This role will focus on expanding the company's footprint with OEMs in traditional rotating equipment sectors while pursuing emerging opportunities in hydrogen, data centers, semiconductors, and battery technologies.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Market DevelopmentIdentify and develop new OEM partnerships in high-growth sectors including hydrogen, data centers, semiconductors, and battery manufacturingAnalyze market trends and customer needs to position Garlock products as preferred solutionsSales Growth & Account ManagementDrive revenue growth for metal gaskets, compression packing, 3522 diaphragm material, and Klozure® productsManage key OEM accounts, ensuring long-term relationships and customer satisfactionCollaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet OEM specifications and performance requirementsCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing to align product development with market needsSupport product launches and promotional campaigns targeting OEMs in strategic verticalsTechnical Expertise & Value SellingProvide technical guidance and application support to OEM customersDeliver compelling value propositions that highlight Garlock’s differentiation in sealing technology and reliabilityMarket Intelligence & ReportingMonitor competitive landscape and emerging technologiesProvide regular updates and forecasts to leadership on pipeline development and market penetrationSkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred5+ years of experience in OEM sales or business development, preferably in industrial or engineered productsStrong understanding of sealing technologies and rotating equipment applicationsProven success in developing new markets and managing complex sales cyclesExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsWillingness to travel domestically and internationally as neededFamiliarity with hydrogen infrastructure, semiconductor manufacturing, battery systems, or data center cooling technologiesExperience working with mining equipment OEMs or rotating equipment manufacturersTechnical background in mechanical or industrial engineering is a plusCompany OverviewGarlock provides solutions that seal the most demanding fluid-handling equipment and processes, with more than 100,000 sealing solutions for a diverse range of industries world-wide: • Chemical Processing • Food & Beverage/Brewing & Bottling • Lithium • Semiconductor • Mining • Nuclear • Oil & Gas • Pharmaceuticals • Power Generation • Primary Metals • Pulp & Paper • Water/Waste Water Garlock is part of Enpro Industries.
