[Remote] OEM Account Manager

Powerex is an industry leading provider of oil free compressed air and vacuum technology, seeking an OEM Account Manager to expand their market share within the industrial compressed air marketplace. The role involves managing customer relationships, developing sales strategies, and identifying new market opportunities while working closely with channel partners and the National Sales Manager.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the companyβs business position with current sales partners, major end users, and competitorsManage customer relationships at a corporate level and work well with engineering, operations, marketing, quality, customer service, and other sales resources to ensure customer satisfactionPossess intricate knowledge of compressed air/vacuum applications, details, and market pressuresCreate a territory business plan designed to increase the promotion of company products; this will include understanding the sales and marketing efforts of company productsIdentify new potential partners in the territory and understand what value our products bring to their current solution. Powerex products can include existing products or new products if opportunity size justifies additional engineering developmentDevelop territory knowledge and apply strategies to grow sales network and increase overall footprintManage an established list of accounts, helping to grow current sales and establish channels for new growthIdentify new markets and potential new customers/applicationsCall on and visit compressed air distributors, OEMs, and end-users depending on sales channel to marketAttend trade shows and promote Powerex products as requiredThis is an individual contributor positionSkills5+ years of Capital Equipment sales experienceA BS/BA undergraduate degreeExperience selling compressed air or vacuum systems to industrial users, laboratories, and/or food & beverage usersExperience supporting and managing distributors and OEMsExperience working with engineers and scoping product linesExperience managing corporate accountsTerritory management experienceExcellent time management skillsDetail oriented β complimented by excellent follow up skillsGenuine commitment to delivering a high level of service to sales partners and providing an above average customer experienceCompany OverviewPowerex is a manufacturing company that provides oil-free air compressors.
