Harrow is a leading provider of ophthalmic disease management solutions in North America, seeking an Ocular Surgery Account Manager to drive sales growth in a defined geographic region. The role requires a motivated self-starter who can effectively communicate with ophthalmologists and surgery centers, while managing relationships and achieving sales objectives.ResponsibilitiesTakes 100% ownership, with an entrepreneurial mindset, to meet or exceed quarterly sales revenue and product goalsAbility to effectively communicate complex clinical information to ophthalmic surgeons, billers, and administration in both the surgeon’s office and ASCAdept understanding of complex care systems and strong capability to assess local dynamics to inform area business growth acceleration plansSolid understanding of reimbursement concepts as they relate to buy and billDevelop critical physician and ASC staff relationships within the assigned geographyUtilizes all internal resources when developing quarterly action plans or handling problem accountsProvides weekly new business forecasts and updatesAll sales activity is adequately recorded in CRMMaintain an in-depth and professional level understanding of the Harrow surgical peri-operative productsCollaborate effectively with internal departments and peersAct with a sense of urgency at all levels of customer care and follow upAbility to travel throughout the assigned geography on a routine basisUtilize the designated CRM system – SalesforceUnderstand and follow all industry and company policies and guidelinesComply with all state and federal legislation and regulatory requirementsManage expenses in a thoughtful, responsible, and ethical mannerResourceful thinker that may not have a complete roadmap to success, but finds the resources available to win and prosperActs as the liaison for customer complaints or issues with continual follow-upSubmits all required reports, including monthly expense reports, on timeCompetent in PowerPoint, Excel, Word & OutlookSkillsBachelor's degree in a related fieldHas 3+ years of successful ophthalmology sales experience with buy and bill sales and/or ophthalmic medical device sales experience preferredAbility to build, develop, and foster longstanding relationships with customersAbility to quickly absorb product and practice information and offer solutions that resonateExperience with the execution of strategic and targeted business plans around priorities and goalsProficient with MS Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointKnowledge of how physicians make decisions regarding patient care for various therapiesExcellent presentation and interpersonal skillsSolid independent judgment and initiative requiredSuperior communication and written skills are a mustAbility to multitask, adjusting priorities as neededGood problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to become proficient with Salesforce CRMCompany OverviewHarrow (NASDAQ: HROW) is a growing leader in the ophthalmic healthcare market.
