Remote Occupational Therapist (PA Licensed) Part-Time Virtual

Remote Part-Time Educational Occupational Therapist (PA Licensed) Position Type: 1099 Independent Contractor Location: 100% Remote (Virtual Services) Hours: Part-time, 5 hours per week Schedule: Flexible scheduling, but all services must be provided during school hours on school days Compensation: $75 per billable service hour Applicants must hold a current and active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Pennsylvania at the time of application in order to be considered. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Educational Occupational Therapist to provide virtual school-based OT services to students. This is a part-time contract position for approximately five (5) hours per week. The therapist will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational therapy services that support students’ educational access and participation, as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This position offers flexible scheduling as long as all services are completed during the school day. Key Responsibilities • Provide individualized educational occupational therapy services to students in a virtual setting • Deliver services and interventions that align directly with each student’s IEP goals and objectives • Collaborate with school staff, IEP teams, and families to support students’ educational needs • Maintain accurate service logs, session notes, and progress reports • Conduct virtual assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring • Participate in IEP meetings as required Required Qualifications • Must currently hold an active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Pennsylvania • Experience providing school-based or pediatric occupational therapy strongly preferred • Knowledge of special education processes, IEPs, and school-based service delivery • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills • Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently Required Clearances (Must Be Provided Before Starting) Applicants must submit proof of the following clearances and keep them current as required by Pennsylvania regulations: • FBI Clearance (run within the last year, updated every 5 years) • Child Abuse Clearance (run within the last year, updated every 2 years) • PA Criminal Background Check (run within the last year, updated every 2 years) • Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form (Act 168) • Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification Form (Act 24 of 2011 and Act 82 of 2012) • Proof of mandated reporter training/certification Additional Details • This is a 1099 independent contractor position • Therapists may set their own schedule provided services are delivered during school hours on school days • Current caseload is 5 students needing 5 total hours of virtual educational OT per week Applicants must hold a current and active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Pennsylvania at the time of application in order to be considered.
