Remote Occupational Therapist in SC
A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in telehealth services within a school setting. This fully remote position is based in Charleston, SC, providing flexibility in location while supporting students' developmental and functional needs through virtual intervention.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and interventions via telehealth platforms.
ā¢ Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals.
ā¢ Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
ā¢ Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory standards.
ā¢ Utilize a virtual platform equipped with assessments, interactive learning tools, and clinical resources.
ā¢ Attend virtual meetings and trainings using access to a Zoom Pro account and dedicated clinical support.
Qualifications:
ā¢ Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials valid in South Carolina.
ā¢ Experience delivering OT services in educational environments preferred.
ā¢ Demonstrated proficiency in telehealth service delivery and virtual communication tools.
ā¢ Strong organizational, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
ā¢ Ability to independently manage caseload and adapt to virtual therapy settings.
