Remote Occupational Therapist in CA
A contract position is available for a qualified Occupational Therapist specializing in telehealth and teletherapy services within a school setting. This role focuses on delivering remote OT support primarily to high school students, although K-12 students may also be included.
Location: Hesperia, CA
Schedule: Approximately 12 hours per week throughout the entire school year
Caseload: Around 25 students, with a primary focus on consultative services
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Provide occupational therapy services via telehealth to K-12 students, mainly targeting high school-aged learners
ā¢ Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
ā¢ Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic approaches as needed
ā¢ Consult with educators and other professionals to support student development and learning objectives
Desired Qualifications:
ā¢ Current Occupational Therapy license and credentials appropriate for school-based practice
ā¢ Experience or training in telehealth and teletherapy delivery models
ā¢ Comfortable managing a consultative caseload and adapting services for remote delivery
ā¢ Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, parents, and school personnel
