Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, focusing on comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans. This role involves working in various settings, including urgent care and geriatrics, with a commitment to improving patient outcomes and ensuring continuity of care.

Duties
• Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patients' health status.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures as required.
• Manage discharge planning for patients, ensuring a smooth transition from hospital to home or other care facilities.
• Suture wounds and provide necessary follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for seniors and patients requiring urgent care.
• Stay updated on advancements in medical practices, particularly in geriatrics and senior care.

Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Valid Nurse Practitioner license with the ability to practice in the state of employment.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient assessments and interventions.
• Experience in a Level II trauma center is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficient in managing medical records and utilizing electronic health record systems.
• Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
