[Remote] NSX Senior Consultant

The NSX Senior Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting VMware NSX solutions within client environments, focusing on hands-on delivery and troubleshooting complex networking issues.ResponsibilitiesDeploy and manage NSX resources through SDDC Manager, incorporating VPC-based self-service models and Advanced Load Balancing (Avi) to support modern application deliveryDeploy and support NSX components such as edge nodes, Tier-0 and Tier-1 gateways, and overlay networkingConfigure distributed firewalling and microsegmentation to support security requirementsExecute migration and integration activities from traditional networking to NSX-based architecturesTroubleshoot connectivity, routing, and performance issues across NSX environmentsCollaborate with client stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure successful delivery outcomesSupport lifecycle activities including upgrades, patching, and environment maintenanceMaintain clear documentation of configurations, changes, and operational proceduresCommunicate progress, risks, and outcomes effectively to the client and internal stakeholdersSkillsCurrent experience implementing and supporting VMware NSX solutions in enterprise environmentsExpert understanding of networking concepts, including routing, switching, firewalling, and segmentationExperience with NSX-T environments, including overlay networking and gateway configurationExperience troubleshooting network and infrastructure issues in production environmentsExperience working in client-facing or consulting environmentsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliverables independentlyVMware certifications such as VCP-NV, VCAP-NV, or related tracksCustomer Consulting and Delivery: Ability to work directly with clients to implement solutions, communicate progress, and ensure successful outcomesNSX Implementation and Configuration: Ability to deploy and configure logical switching, routing, and edge services within NSXNetwork Virtualization Expertise: Ability to implement overlay networking, Tier-0/Tier-1 routing, and gateway configurationsSecurity and Microsegmentation: Ability to design and apply distributed firewall policies and segmentation strategiesTroubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex networking and connectivity issuesLifecycle and Operations Support: Ability to perform upgrades, patching, and ongoing environment maintenanceDocumentation and Communication: Ability to document configurations and communicate effectively with stakeholdersCompany OverviewEntelligence helps the world’s technology leaders quickly deliver their most advanced cloud solutions to their most important customers.
