Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Registry Partners is seeking a Senior Program Manager to coordinate and manage clinical registry projects. The role involves overseeing data abstraction processes, providing training to staff, and ensuring high-quality outcomes through validation activities.ResponsibilitiesManages all abstracting and registry operations/project related activities in accordance with applicable regulatory agencies for assigned specialty area(s)Ensures all Project Manager/Quality Manager instruction documents and policies and procedures are followedEnsures successful setup and implementation of new projects including working with each client to define project parameters/project roadmap, project expectations and requirements for the services RP will provideConducts staff training on data abstraction software and facility Electronic Medical Record System(s)Provides clear expectations, goals and deadlines to project team(s)Conducts a re-abstraction of the first/second/three cases (if applicable). Provides timely feedback and consultation as needed to the abstractorConducts a weekly re-abstraction of all opportunities for improvement (OFI’s) as well as a random sample of 5% of the cases completed to enforce and ensure data abstraction guidelines are being followed and interpreted accuratelyCompiles Opportunities for Improvement (OFI) logs or the equivalent per project specifications (weekly or monthly)Monitors validation compliance and completion for each assigned project and staff member by utilizing the various validation reports within KimbleCompletes weekly case log verification for assigned projects on weekly case logs to verify cases are 100% completeProvides ongoing validation guidance and support to abstractors and other managers who are abstracting, as neededSchedules project team work assignments/hours to meet the needs of each project with accurate project forecastingAssists the Registry Services Director (RSD) or Vice President / Senior VP with providing corporate education regarding industry and/or regulatory agency changes/updates as neededAttends and actively participates in monthly meetingsPrepares and submits accurate weekly reporting of project activities and tasksConsults industry related Q & A resources as needed for abstracting questions/clarifications as neededIdentifies staffing needs based on workload and services being provided to the client, and recognizes additional work opportunities that may be availableMonitors project priorities, deadlines and productivity to ensure staff work schedules and project expectations are being metMaintains all project related documentationProvides timely responses to employee and client questions and/or concerns as needed and consults with other management team members when necessaryProactively identifies and analyzes problems (employee and client) and discusses with RSD, to ensure a successful solutionFulfills committed work hours to meet the requirements of clients, employees and the company during normal business hours and across standard business days (Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in your time zone) and during non-standard hours (evenings, nights, weekends and holidays) as needed. Use of the company phone when out of office to maintain availability and assist with the expected response time, within four business hours of call, email or request for assistanceAll other duties as assignedSkillsMust be a Certified Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Clinical Reviewer and a Certified NSQIP Surgical Clinical Reviewer (SCRs)At least 1 year of NSQIP registry abstraction and NSQIP database / registry management experience, with current NSQIP registry certification credentials (SCR), requiredAt least 1 year of MBSAQIP Bariatric registry abstraction and database management experience, with current MBSCR registry certification credentials (MBSCR), requiredProficient in Microsoft Office Products and/or Google office products, industry related core registry data abstraction specifications manuals, data abstraction software systems and electronic medical record applications, requiredExcellent communication, documentation, organization and planning skills, requiredStrong attention to detail, requiredAt least 1 years of Quality Department management or other health related management experience, preferredPrevious experience performing validation reviews or other work experience relating to Quality Control/Validation preferredAssociate or Bachelor Degree in Health Information Management, Nursing or related field, preferredRHIT, RHIA, CPHQ, RN, preferredExposure to quality improvement concepts and processes, preferredAbility to analyze, interpret and display data, preferredCompany OverviewRegistry Partners is a healthcare company that provides registry management and consultancy services.
