[Remote] Northeast Key Account Manager

Cyril's Foods is expanding its innovative product offerings for the Coffee Chain and C-Store space, and they are seeking a Northeast Key Account Manager. This role is responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with retail and convenience store accounts to drive distribution and increase market presence.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with retail and convenience store accounts, distributors, and brokersProspect, secure, and grow new retail and C-store accountsDrive product placement, distribution expansion, and shelf presenceCollaborate with distributors to execute pricing, promotions, and programsDevelop and manage broker relationships to support regional sales effortsPlan and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targetsNegotiate pricing, promotions, and trade spend with retail partnersConduct store visits, audits, and market checks to ensure execution standardsProvide product training and presentations to retail partners and distributorsMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedbackMaintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and account plansPartner with marketing and product development teams to share market insightsAttend industry trade shows, retail meetings, and company eventsPerform other duties as assignedSkillsCollege diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceMinimum of 5 years of sales experience in foodservice sales, C-store, CPG, or food distributionExperience working with distributors, brokers, and category managersStrong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsProven ability to manage large, multi-location retail accountsStrategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating cross-functionallyDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesKnowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and promotional planningProficiency with Gmail and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.)Must be able to travel to customer locations, distributor meetings, and trade showsRental car may be required as part of the roleApproximately 70% remote/home-based work and 30% field travelTravel to retail locations, distributor offices, and industry events as neededBenefitsHealth insurancePaid time offCompany OverviewCyrils Foods is a food and beverage company that specializes in frozen bakery products for the food and retail industries.
