They are seeking a Noregon Sales Professional who will be responsible for prospecting, cold-calling, and qualifying sales leads while managing their territory to develop new business sales and close deals.ResponsibilitiesManage your territory by developing new business sales and prospects, keeping an active schedule sufficient to grow revenueWork closely with the Regional Sales Manager on territory management and account planningDevelop and implement an aggressive prospecting plan to uncover sales opportunitiesGenerate leads through self-conducted research and networking, actively making cold calls and setting appointments looking for new business opportunitiesConduct 5+ demos per week showcasing how Noregon technology will improve their business and reduce repair timesTrain customers to ensure renewal of softwareUtilize a CRM to record, maintain & report customer informationSkillsMinimum of three (3) years outside sales experienceOutstanding relationship-building skillsStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to understand and overcome customer's buying objectionsStrong time-management, organizational and prioritization abilitiesAbility to adopt to quick business changesExcellent follow up skills and a sense of urgency when dealing with customersGeneral proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applicationsRequires a valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicleConsent to undergo background checkThis is active role with some on- and off-site vehicle demonstration may be required. This would require the ability to enter heavy-duty trucks and gain access to various engine components as needed, in addition to standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, bending, and stooping as necessaryBasic motor skills and manual dexterity for extensive computer usage are requiredSitting for extended periods of time is requiredTalking, hearing and close vision abilities are requiredAbility to occasionally lift 50 poundsAbility to withstand the stress of traveling, including extended hours drivingUp to 75% travelAssociate degree in Automotive Technology or related field preferred but not requiredExperience in the diagnostic tool industry is a plusCold calling and prospecting: good business acumen including sales quota achievement and closing salesCompany OverviewNoregon Systems is an information technology company that provides vehicle diagnostics services.
