[Remote] Non-Attorney Represented Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster - PST/MST (Remote) - National General

They are currently seeking an Experienced Bodily Injury Adjuster to handle non-attorney represented bodily injury claims, exercising discretion and independence in investigations and customer service. Responsibilities • Handles investigation regarding all aspects of bodily injury claims (coverage, damages, subrogation, litigation) with the exercise of discretion and independence within increased level of authority • Applies intermediate understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department • Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle • Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills • Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle and understanding of other potential property damage • For claims involving fraud or subrogation, partners with assigned reps from those areas to achieve best outcome Skills • Experience handling non-attorney represented bodily injury claims • Candidates should be located in the Pacific Time Zone in one of the following states: California, Arizona, Nevada, or Oregon • Ability to obtain and maintain adjuster licenses as required • Customer service orientation • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong time management skills from a global case management and pending perspective (vs. transactional) • Effective problem solving and analytical skills; ability to detect differences and issue recognition from multiple sources • Proficient in Word and Outlook • Experience managing nonstandard auto insurance claims • Familiarity with California-specific claims handling practices and regulations Company Overview • As part of the Allstate family of companies, National General, an Allstate company, is one of the largest insurers in the United States.
