[Remote] NMLS Mortgage Licensing / Compliance Specialist

They are seeking a Compliance Specialist focused on mortgage licensing to support high-volume onboarding of Loan Officers within its Legal and Compliance organization.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Process new mortgage license applications for Loan Officers
ā¢ Support onboarding cohorts of 15ā50 Loan Officers every two weeks, resulting in hundreds of licensing actions per cycle
ā¢ Independently manage licensing workflows within NMLS
ā¢ Track licensing tasks and progress using internal systems (Airtable)
ā¢ Prepare for and support Continuing Education (CE) activities related to upcoming license renewal cycles
ā¢ Partner with multiple internal business units to ensure timely and compliant onboarding
ā¢ Provide guidance to Loan Officers on licensing requirements and status
ā¢ Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the licensing lifecycle
ā¢ Manage shifting priorities while meeting aggressive onboarding timelines
Skills
ā¢ Mortgage licensing experience (mandatory)
ā¢ Must be mortgage-specific; other licensing backgrounds are not interchangeable
ā¢ Strong hands-on proficiency with NMLS
ā¢ Ability to independently complete licensing actions without supervision
ā¢ Proven ability to manage high-volume workloads with frequent priority changes
ā¢ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
ā¢ Ability to work independently while remaining aligned with team goals
