[Remote] NFL Network Security Administrator

Algoworks is seeking a motivated Network Security Administrator to assist in the management, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise firewall and network security infrastructure. The role involves providing support and troubleshooting for NFL firewall devices, collaborating with various teams, and analyzing security events to identify potential threats.ResponsibilitiesProvide NFL Game Day monitoring, support and troubleshooting of NFL firewall devicesCollaborate with network, server, and cybersecurity teams to troubleshoot application related issuesAnalyze firewall logs and security events to identify potential issues, threats or policy violationsParticipate in Enterprise firewall policy reviews and cleanup/optimization activitiesMaintain accurate documentation of firewall configurations, network diagrams, and change recordsReview, implement, and document firewall rule changes according to established proceduresRespond to incidents and service requests related to firewall operationsFollow change management processes and security best practicesSkillsAssociates or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experienceBasic understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, DNS/DHCP, and BGP technologiesFamiliarity with firewall concepts such as security zones, security policies, NAT, policy-based forwarding and threat preventionExperience with Palo Alto Next Generation firewalls and PanoramaAbility to analyze logs and troubleshoot connectivity issuesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamExperience with Cisco Meraki MX security devices, Zscaler and/or Prisma Access is a plusAbility to interpret packet captures with tools like WiresharkFamiliarity with SIEM and log analysis toolsKnowledge of cloud networking and security conceptsBasic scripting experience with Python and/or PowerShellRelevant certifications such as: Palo Alto Networks Certifications (PSNSA, PSNSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)BenefitsThe position is fully remoteCompany OverviewAlgoworks is an award-winning artificial intelligence, engineering services and experience transformation firm with offices in the United States, Europe, South America and India, bringing together a global team of engineers, architects, designers, researchers, operators and innovators who share a passion for achieving client goals.
