Collinwood Technology Partners is assisting a fast-growing global manufacturer in the sensor and controls components industry to bolster their New Business Development team. They are seeking an innovative New Business Development Manager to support growth strategies, expand market presence, and drive revenue through complex deal execution.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute comprehensive business development strategies that align with company goals and revenue targets. Provide regularly scheduled updates on progress towards meeting targetsStay up-to-date with industry trends, identify new market opportunities, emerging industry trends, and strategic partnerships to drive growth in key regions and verticalsForge and manage relationships with key decision makers such as buyers, engineers, executives, and potential partners to drive brand growth and revenueAdminister pipeline development, lead generation, and sales processes, ensuring effective strategies to meet or exceed revenue targetsWork closely with Marketing, Product Management, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on growth initiatives and market positioningTrack and report on business development activities, including pipeline health and progress toward revenueSkills5+ years of sales experience in a 'hunter role' for a sensor and/or component manufacturing business selling 'six-figure or greater' opportunitiesMust have experience selling sensors and/or components for the appliance, heating, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, industrial process equipment, motor vehicle, and/or aerospace industriesRecord of consistently meeting and exceeding quotasHighly proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Utilize Excel or CRM tools to record key metrics on opportunities and pipeline reportingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and writtenIdeally, you will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related fieldCompany OverviewCollinwood Technology Partners is an information technology consulting and staffing firm.
