[Remote] New Business Development Manager

This role involves engaging with emerging technology companies and leading a cross-functional team to transform innovative ideas into prototypes and market-ready products.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and qualify AI‑driven startups and emerging technology companies across: Aerospace & Defense (autonomy, sensing, EW, radar, secure compute), Consumer Electronics (edge AI, AR/VR, wearables, next‑gen compute), Robotics & Automation (humanoids, AMRs, industrial robotics, perception) and AI‑enabled physics and hardware‑software co‑design platformsAnticipate technology inflection points where advanced printed circuit board (PCB) materials, stack‑ups, and manufacturing capabilities become critical enablersBuild and manage a structured opportunity pipeline with clear value‑creation hypothesesIdentify and activate the most effective engagement channels, including: Direct founder / CTO relationships, Venture capital and corporate venture ecosystems, Incubators, accelerators, and university‑affiliated labs, OEMs, EMS partners, and advanced PCB design housesPosition the company as a co‑development partner, not just a materials supplierRepresent the company at startup demo days, technical forums, and ecosystem eventsLead deep VOC collection with startup engineering and architecture teamsTranslate system‑level needs into PCB and material requirements, Stack‑up, SI/PI, thermal, and reliability implications and inputs to new product and application roadmapsProvide structured VOC feedback to PLM, R&D, and engineering leadershipPartner with a cross‑functional SWAT team consisting of: Product Line Management (PLM), Technical Service Engineering (TSE), Engineering,and Operations team membersEnable compressed prototyping and sampling cycles, including: PCB design support and reference designs, rapid material sampling and iteration, close coordination with fabs and partnersPartner closely with Application Development Managers (ADM) and PLM to: align startup engagements with long‑term product platforms and distinguish scalable opportunities from one‑off requestsSkillsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or related field.
