Remote Nevada Attorney - No Billables!
Robert Half Legal is working with an extremely stable, well-established law firm based in Southern California with a growing Nevada presence.
The firm is looking for a Nevada attorney to come in join its tenured team. This attorney will be focused on healthcare litigation.
Responsibilities of Role:
• The firm will train on managing complex healthcare claims from A-Z as long as the attorney coming in has a good background in civil litigation.
• Law & Motion.
• Taking depositions.
• Binding arbitration (AAA or JAMs), first as second-chair but eventually as first chair.
• Lots of database claims- using database property software.
• Negotiating with clients and hospitals.
• Legal research.
• Hours: roughly 9-6, no billable hour requirement.

• Willing to train people on firm systems, healthcare litigation, understanding medical records/medical billing, understanding contracts

• Free parking and Bar and CLE paid for, all mileage reimbursed
• Lots of opportunities for growth/diversity in practice. The firm operates in different states, they will encourage/help people to get that.
• No set partnership track, but the firm brings people on as partner
Qualifications:
• Active Nevada State Bar license is required.
• Ideally 5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a proven track record of handling complex cases, but 3+ years will be reviewed.
• Willingness to learn healthcare litigation practices, including medical billing and contract analysis.
Compensation
$130,000.00-$150,000.00 Yearly
